Emma’s sweater is progressing nicely. I’m actually nearly done with the first sleeve after this morning’s knitting at Kimball Farm. I realized though that I forgot to change to the smaller needles to do the cable at the bottom of the sweater. We had a couple of new folks join us this morning. Phyllis who’d been inquiring via the Yahoo group joined us and worked on her knit Teddy bear and Kathy from Knitigator joined us, Hi Kathy! Kathy was working on her gorgeous Broadripple socks. I’ve only ever seen variegated version of that pattern so I was never that excited about them but Kathy’s are done in a solid color and you can see the beautiful pattern much more easily in a solid color. Now I’m really looking forward to making a pair. They’ll have to wait a bit though, I’ve promised the next pair of socks to Jason.
