Very slowly Madli’s Shawl is growing and the ball of lace yarn is shrinking. Here she is with 9 of the 31 repeats complete. There’s a long way to go yet but I do seem to be able to stay on track while knitting this at SnB so she shouldn’t get stuck in a corner again for a bit.
See you all in a couple of days. I’m off early tomorrow morning for a Relay for Life leadership summit so that I can better help to run the Westford event this coming June 9th.

I don’t know if I properly expressed my admiration of Madli last night, but if I didn’t, it wasn’t for lack thereof – it is gorgeous. My sock was preoccupying my entire conscious thought process.
Oh, I broke one of my dpns last night in an attempt to slip the sock over my foot – I inadvertantly bent it! Luckily it only cracked slightly and I RAN for the Crazy Glue!
Thank you again for your help with turning the heel. Like you said, it’s one of those things that you need a hand with the first time… I hope to be able to pay it forward at some point. (I’m sure Kristin will take up socks soon enough!)

Wow!!! You haven’t joked about devoting time to it. It’s gorgeous.
