Find the seed at the bottom of your heart and bring forth a flower

SeedsSusan correctly noted the Cook’s Garden seed catalog in the origami bookmark post. My order arrived today, or at least the seeds did. The rest will be shipped when it’s time to plant. This will be my first attempt at veggie gardening since moving up from the South. I’ve so far only grown flowers and herbs.

I finished the base of the second mitten so I’m now ready to do thumbs and cuffs. Wish me luck!

what kinds of veggies are you planning for your garden?

  5. As always everything you knit is wonderful and the mittens are no exception. Thank you and Carrie again. I can not think of a better way to start off my birthday then with a wonderful pair of socks knit by two of the kindest women I know.

  6. My dh beat me to it and ordered a bunch of plants that will ship at just the right time for planting. I want to order some seeds too. I have a few leftover from last year that I need to test.
