One of the things I’ve taken with me on the trip is some Cherry Tree hill sock yarn and a pair of Addi size 0 circular needles. I’m intending to give the two circs method a go. I’m quite happy knitting my socks on DPNs but the 0′s are very bendy and I do occaisonally break them. I thought if I could tolerate the two circs just for socks needing eensy weensy needles that it might be nice. I have never knitted with the Cherry Tree hill and so far I really love the yarn but I’m not liking this two circs thing. I just may return with socks on DPNs!

After the initial few rows, the circs are easier to use. I actually find that I am faster on them then dpns. Good luck!

Let me know if the circs get any easier as I have thought about trying them too.

If you find the two circs too ‘fiddley’ then give the magic loop a shot. I can’t stand the two circs method but I lurve the ML. Way faster for me.
Oh and I had a set of Brittany size 0′s for all of five seconds. I snapped them like the little toothpicks they are ;o)

What Jess said – Magic Loop is better than 2 circs because there’s no dangling ends.

I keep thinking about trying to circs and head right back to my DPNs. Let me know if it gets any easier.

I use the 2 circs method and find it to be easier after the first few rows. Have a great trip!

Yep. What Jess said. Magic Loop instead of 2-circs. Those dangling ends are annoying!
