Our kitties are strictly indoor girls both for their own protection and mine as well since I’m allergic to fleas. This means the neighbor cats hang out in our yard to watch the birds at the feeder and the chippys who come to clean up the mess that falls to the ground. Here is Stitchy watching a little chippy who is smart enough to stay out by the rocks. Usually Stitchy hides under the grill and he’s quite often successful at nabbing a chippy or a bird. While I enjoy watching the chippys, I’m also happy that Stitchy keeps them a little nervous because they can dig close to the house and harm the foundation if left unchecked.

How nice to have your cats patrol for you! My front flower garden is always dug up by the chipmunks! Holes everywhere…..maybe I could rent your cat!

That is really neat–you have your own house guard

Peaches is an inside girl too… But, we have plenty of outside visitors that chase the chipmunks.

our kitties are inside too (two of them) but the third lives outside only – he refuses to come in. Once I enticed him with treats about three feet inside the door before he bolted back out. go figure. He’s a fast little guy, and so far has avoided the racoons and coyotes (yay!)
I love to watch the outside cats, the way they watch silently, sitting ever so patient… but the fleas?? nope, they can stay outside(grins)
