Yesterday we spent the morning at Plum Island refuge and enjoyed walking on the beach and listening to the surf. Jason packed a picnic lunch and we headed home before the crowds descended. By the time we hit the road home we could see miles and miles of traffic backed up heading for the beach. It sure was nice to beat the crowds and then head home before it was roasty toasty.
