

The olive oil dough from "Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day" is fast becoming a favorite in our house. I’m making a double batch now that will last a couple weeks. I found a plastic tub that’s just about large enough as long as I bake two loaves on day 1. I put one in the freezer to keep it fresh but it doesn’t seem to stay in there very long.


Yesterday’s bread was done in time for lunch. I’d picked up some almond butter at the market to try so I made a sandwich with that and some raspberry jam, yum!

You may just end up luring me away from my favored Bread Bible. That looks yummy! I don’t eat a lot of bread, but when I do, I like it fresh and home baked.

Almond butter and raspberry jam sounds so decadent… more like dessert than lunch.
