When I first started looking for a bike basket I ran across these. Those weren’t really in my budget but the pictures of dogs in baskets made me think that perhaps Gabby might like to ride in the basket. She’s the most outgoing of our cats and is very interested in people. In preparation for this crazy idea we bought her a harness and leash (I was afraid she would try to jump at first). Yesterday I put the harness on her and although she tried to jump out of it sideways she very quickly decided it was okay. The leash was a bit different. You certainly can’t get her to go any particular way with it but then really all I want it to do is keep her in the basket when we try to ride with her. We let her walk about the yard a bit which she quite enjoyed.
