After three snow storms in a week we have a good bit of snow on the ground and all the talk is of a white Christmas. It's supposed to warm up on Christmas eve though and rain. I'm not sure that really counts.
Jason frequently asks me to make dressing for his salad when he cooks dinner. My goto recipe is about a tablespoon of the Green Goddess mix, 2/3 cup buttermilk, a tablespoon mayo, a big pinch of salt, a sprinkle of cayenne pepper and a small clove of garlic run through the garlic press. If you like thicker dressing add more mayo, this is fairly thin.

Well it counts as far as I’m concerned.
We’d love to have half of that! Although, I can do with out the cold …

I’d love a white Christmas! I always say that the snow is so pretty it makes the cold worthwhile!
Do you mind telling us what’s in the Green Goddess mix and where one can buy it?

I’ll have to ask Mike to put this one on the list. That looks delicious. Mike is crazy about Penzey spices now.

We, too, are going to have a very white Christmas here in Iowa …. almost 20 inches on the ground with another 1-3 (usually ends up 4-6) inches after midnight tonight. At least the temp will be above zero for the first time since last week. What a relief!

I’m glad you guys made it through the storm somewhat unscathed – I hope the snow holds on until Xmess day, a rainy Xmess is just depressing. ;o)

We love Penzeys but I haven’t tried the Green Goddess yet…I’ll have to put it on the list for our next visit.
