Now I'm filling in the "scaffolding" for the rest of the piece. Once all the cross bars are done the rest will fill in very quickly because I won't have to count and recount to be sure I'd done it properly. I started a couple fans to be sure I counted correctly and all seems fine so far.

Yeah! It looks gorgeous. I busted out my crewel piece yesterday and started doing some of the practice motifs.
