On Friday we had a load of mulch delivered and Jason began the spring cleaning in the yard. Normally I do the weeding and mulching but this year it falls to him since I'm unable. There was a fair bit of coaching on what is and isn't a weed but I think he did a great job. I was really excited to see the tulip tree leafing out though I'm sure it's still a few years yet before he will bloom.

The flower beds are just going bonkers with the heatwave this weekend and things are blooming like crazy. I"m not sure what I did right but the lilac is really loaded with buds and it won't be long til he joins the party.
