Gabby is doing very well on her new food (Royal Canin for Persians), suggested to us by Madame Purl. Before Gabby started losing teeth any food would do but the fewer teeth she had the more trouble she had getting food into that smooshy face. The vet was worried when she lost a pound at her annual checkup and ordered all sorts of tests. Jason noticed how she struggled to grasp food and then Mme Purl suggested the RC food. It did take a few weeks for Gabby to adapt to it but now she’s gained back the weight she lost and is doing very well indeed. The only trouble is, Gwen cannot have anything but her special kidney disease food so Gabby’s must be kept covered and put down only with someone standing guard.
