Yesterday I finished up the Fallen Leaf shawl. I used Karabella Lace Mohair in red with size 5 needles. I added beads between the pair yarnovers at the center of the “leaf” and about every 4th stitch after the purl row at the beginning of the ruffle. The ruffle directions boggled me so I just winged it there and it looks perfect.  This is now on it’s way to Nicole in Oregon. I had such fun knitting it for her! (Be forwarned though, that ruffle is a marathon cast off. So worth it don’t you think? It’s absolutely darling.)
