The sashing went on fairly smoothly. That bottom row of blocks is slightly wobbly but all in all it’s great for a beginner. Next I need to stitch down the basket handles and you can see I’ve been choosing thread for that. Once that’s done I’ll need to do my border and then trim my backing and batting and I’ll be all set for the final class. (Well, except that I’m also signed up for Machine Quilting on Saturday but that’s just a one day workshop.)

It is beautiful. Adding the sashing has really made each block stand on its own, just gorgeous.

Beautiful! You did a great job on that quilt! If I were doing it, it would still be in pieces…sigh!
