Meet the newest addition to our household. We still miss Gwen dreadfully but now we have a welcome cheerful distraction. When I dropped off Gabby’s urine sample at the vet yesterday they had a wee tiny surprise for me. The day before Thanksgiving someone abandoned mamma and three wee kittens on their doorstep. The kittens all had eye infections and momma needed vaccinations. Dr. S. treated everyone and the kittens are now 8 weeks old and weaned. There are two boys and one girl and we brought home little Ripley. She was called “Alien” at first because she was the runt but Dr. S changed it to Ripley after Sigourney’s character. Jason thought they were calling her Riley though and both he and Daniel insist it shall be Riley, so Riley it is.
