Once the pinwheels were done, it didn’t take long to finish putting together the Dogwood table runner. My only snag was the untimely death of my iron which developed a fatal leak after only 18 months of use. I found many complaints about that model registered at consumer affairs. After a bit of searching, I found a suitable replacement as well as an overdue new ironing board cover that sports a nice grid as well as double thick padding. Last night I commandeered the coffee table for pinning and now the table runner is all ready for quilting.
