We finally took the plunge and bought a generator. The electrician is coming to set things up in a week or two. I’m sure this will put an end to hurricanes and ice storms but if it doesn’t, we’ll be all set when the power goes out.

You probably won’t need it for a few years, but then you will….and you will be so happy!
We put one in right after we moved in. (Well, right after we moved in and the basement flooded because the power went out and the sump pump quit working). We didn’t need it at first, but last year, we needed it for several days in a row. You’ll love it!
