Stoneview

I took advantage of the stunning weather yesterday and popped out for a walk in the afternoon despite the spring tree pollen almost visible in the air. I'm paying for it today with a sore throat but gosh it was pretty out there! My favorite redbud tree is going to pop any minute now. Folks were busy as bees cleaning up debris and trimming trees damaged by the ice storm we had this winter. Thrifty New Englanders have burgeoning woodpiles. It's hard to believe there are snow flurries in the forecast.

The snow has melted away and the weather turned fair so I'm getting out to walk again. I'm even more motivated this year as walking is supposed to be very helpful for disk degenerative disease and now I've got my comfy new shoes. Yesterday I had some packages to mail so I walked down to the post office. The trees are just beginning to really come into bloom and I could see swelling buds just about everywhere. My allergies are improving though so I suspect the cedar is done.
